IMMEDIATE AFTERCARE

1. Wear your bandage for around 3 hours then remove it , wash the tattoo gently with distilled water and pat dry gently with paper towel. Do not rub back and forth.
2. Apply a very thin layer of A&D or Soframycin ointment on your tattoo a few minutes after washing. A&D or Soframycin has to be applied 3 times a day for 3 days.
3. From 4th day onwards start applying baby oil 3 times a day on your tattoo for 3 weeks. Do not put any sunscreen lotion on your tattoo that has not fully healed.
4. DO NOT PICK OR RUB SCABS. This will cause your tattoo to bleed and will pull ink out of your skin.
5. For 3 weeks avoid going into large bodies of water (pool, ocean, hot bath tub etc.), the Gym or activities that lead to excessive amount of sweating, and exposure to the sun.
6. Avoid body wash on your tattoo for 3 weeks.
7. Wear loose clothing over your tattoo while it heals, to avoid any rubbing that may pull off scabs.

LONG TERM AFTERCARE

Long-term aftercare is just as important as short-term. The more you care about how you treat your skin, the longer your tattoo will uphold it' s sheen.
1. Your Tattoos will lighten up after they have fully healed. That's normal as the layers of skin. But to keep a solid coloring always make sure to put on sunscreen when going outside, especially in the summer, SPF 45 or higher.
2. Always keep your tattoos moisturized, especially in areas prone to fading like hands, feet elbows, etc. This will keep the tattoo in fact longer and less prone to fading over the years.
